The Grazing Plate located in Paradise Point, north Gold Coast is rapidly expanding and in need of additional talented, motivated hospitality experts to join our fabulous team. 

Experienced Chef

We are currently seeking a great all rounder Level 3 Chef.

The Grazing Plate is a popular cafe, restaurant, bar, function space and catering provider - open 7 days a week, breakfast and lunch.  Evenings for private events only.  Our menus feature dishes that are wholesome, unpretentious and modern.  Delivered by a team that is passionate about quality and professionalism.  We take pride in ensuring an exceptional customer experience - including the ambience,  the service, the meal and overall value. 

 

Privately owned and managed, The Grazing Plate has grown substantially since opening in February 2020.  Our team collectively share the ethos of the owners - genuine pleasure in the art and spirit of hospitality.  We believe in teamwork, open collaboration and encourage a healthy respect for each other while having fun!    

 

The ideal applicant would be required to work Fridays and Saturdays and occasional Sundays with the possibility of some extra shifts for evening functions.  Usual hours would be 6am – 3pm. Up to 40 hours per week.

Requirement:

Have Certificate 3 in Cookery.

At least 2 years experience in busy restaurants/cafes

Food & Beverage Staff

As a Food & Beverage Attendant you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our company, within a fast paced and fun work environment.

Requirements

  • No formal experience required - other than a genuine pleasure in the company of others, energy and passion to learn and provide efficient and friendly service.  Previous F&B or retail experience is advantageous, but not essential

  • Ability to communicate and take orders/instructions clearly, while remaining cheerful, calm and professional 

  • Enjoy working in a positive team environment and sharing responsibility 

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including some nights (for events), weekends and holiday periods

  • Currently hold a QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate plus the Covid Hospitality Certificate
